Cerebral Frame

The consultancy: operational modelling, automation and code for small and mid-size companies. Its offer is a Frame, a model of one operation over its own records with every number marked current, stale or dark, that says what it does not know. Sold to the person who runs an operation and its budget, anywhere, on site when it matters.

DEPLOYED

What it is

Cerebral Frame is the business face of this work. It sells to one kind of buyer, sized by the buyer and not by the company: an owner, or the operations, facilities, supply-chain or operational-excellence lead who runs a unit and controls its budget. Shop floors, crews and trucks, warehouses, test lines, a site’s logistics. The hire door on this site and the consultancy site are one offer worn two ways: a $400 half-day consultation first, then a written proposal with deliverables and a price, paid in thirds.

The pitch is one sentence: a model of your business that knows what it does not know. A spreadsheet is heroic and overmatched; its gap is that it has no doubt. A Frame is the client’s operation modelled over its own records, every number marked current, stale or dark, exactly as this site does for itself. When a job runs late it shows which room it came out of and whether anyone was measuring there. It can be rolled a week forward, leaning on current numbers, discounting stale ones and going dark where nobody counts. The file format the Umwelt engine exports and this site renders is the worked sample the consultancy shows.

Two kinds of operation are the first targets. Certified aerospace and defence machine shops, where the strain is work that leaves the building for outside processing and comes back by phone call and memory; the consultancy confirmed that read on its own. Semiconductor test and sensor floors, where the offer is the operation around the tester and never a yield tool; that one is unvalidated until a real conversation on a test floor. Job shops, distributors with a counter, service contractors with trucks, and the non-validated side of life-science sites follow the same shape.

What is on the site

  • Five sample Frames, one per kind of operation, each labelled an illustrative mock-up and built as rooms and sensors; a room nothing feeds reads dark, and that absence is the pitch.
  • A five-question time scan that runs in the page and shows where the hours go.
  • A printable one-pager and a landing page per kind of operation, for walk-in customers; booking by slot list and a contact form through a verified mail domain.

What exists today

cerebralframe.com is live: an Astro site on Node 22, deployed on Railway, with scan rules under test and a Playwright end-to-end suite against the built server. Last pushed 21 October 2026.

Counted on 21 October 2026 from the consultancy’s private prospect store: 186 companies in 30 research batches, 25 graded strong fit, 27 checked by hand against their own websites, 13 account fliers written one at a time from what each company says about itself. Every company carries a sourced reason it would not buy; every batch keeps a note on what those companies already use. The store is a ledger: a stage is a fold of what happened, never typed.

Not done

No paid pilot yet; every sample Frame is an invented company and says so.

The prospect store and its ledger are private. The counts here are as of the date stated.

Pricing beyond the consultation is a typical range; the proposal is the quote.

Next

First conversation on a shop floor, logged as a touch; first $400 consultation booked.
