Auction House

A coordination app for a real probate and estate-auction operation: cases, the parties around them, lots, bids and a verifiable ledger, built as packets with a check on each. A demo deployment exists; no customer use yet.

IN BUILD

What it is

Auction House routes the messy real-world workflow of estate liquidation: intake, the parties around a case (executor, attorney, vendor, realtor, appraiser, family), each with its own surface, a process ledger, communication and follow-through. It was built against a real operating business’s needs, and it is the most direct bridge from this site’s ideas into an ordinary business problem.

The auction side is public and verifiable: a catalogue of live lots across every case, an open bid book per lot, magic-link bidder onboarding, a consignment form, and a per-case chain viewer with integrity verdicts and a machine-readable verification endpoint. A timed-close sweep can be called by a scheduler and is safe to call twice.

Everything is a packet with a schema: Node 22 and TypeScript in strict mode, Express with server-rendered views for the operator cockpit, Zod validating every packet, JSON files by default and a MongoDB adapter for production, party contact details encrypted at rest.

What exists today

Private repository created 24 May 2026, last pushed 28 September 2026. At the auction-house sprint (30 May 2026) the gate read build, lint, 582 tests, 6 multi-agent checks and 46 simulated-user runs. A stateless demo deployment self-seeds a scenario deck on every boot; it answered on 21 October 2026, and a public front door where a visitor steps into any party’s surface is a flag the owner can turn on.

Not done

No end-to-end customer use yet; the demo deployment is not production and resets on redeploy.

Live payments, a verified mail domain and the production secrets are a runbook, not yet done.

Next

First end-to-end customer use, then the subscription flow. Candidate for the first paid pilot and public case study.
