A house, a market, a mind, and a cell can share a grammar only if they share a way of not lying about what is known. Strand Theory, in practice, is that grammar: append-only events, three kinds of speech, a confidence ladder that adapters must not climb, and a public face that renders ignorance as DARK rather than as zero.
